Games at Henry J Beans

Just found out that Melissa (who works at Henry Js) can arrange a projector and using the wifi in the bar, people do watch US games over the internet via a laptop being projected. Very interesting. Will see if we can do that for the Ohio game or the Spartan game.

Access the University Resources online

Thanks to some helpful information from Stephen (alum ‘89), you can use your unique name to access all the information systems just like you could when you were a student. Details of the access are here. You do have to be a paid up Alumni in order to access this. FYI.

I just discovered that you can get your unique name email and enable forwarding on it for free. Brilliant. Here is the website where it’s all done. Once I told them to forward to my gmail within their system, I was up and running. I’m now mcarter@umich.edu. Again.

There is this application called Zattoo I’m checking out that supposedly allows you to watch TV all over the planet. Useful in wacthing U of M games among other things. Let me know if you find out anything useful, i’ll be trying it myself on my mac.
